We know that a Martian has infiltrated Earth after he traded places with one of the human astronauts. We should see more of the Sequids storyline, which wasn't officially concluded. Season 1's final episode also teased other potential subplots for its successor. Expect stranger worlds, weirder characters and a universe-spanning plot to be translated from page to screen. Simmons’ Nolan next season.Īs an offshoot of the above, the show should be entering cosmic territory in season 2 as well. We’ll be here forever if we dive too deep into this father-son bond so, for now, we’ll say we hope to see some of J.K. There’s a lot more for the TV series to cover regarding Mark and Nolan’s relationship, which continues to be explored extensively in the comics, too. ![]() In the comics, Nolan flies off to invade another planet, which he hopes will act as recompense – with the Viltrum Empire – for deserting his posting on Earth. We should also find out where Omni-Man/Nolan has gone. Mark already knows that a fleet is on its way thanks to Allen the Alien’s warning and, with Allen having a more prominent role in the comics from this point on, we can expect the duo's friendship to grow throughout season 2. Mark will be tasked with keeping Earth safe from the invading Viltrumites, as well as help the Coalition of Planets stop the former from carrying out their universe-wide expansion. Season 2 is should pick up this plot thread. Omni-Man was supposed to conquer Earth for the Viltrumite Empire but, after realizing that he couldn’t kill Mark and, by proxy, enslave humanity for his people, he tearfully heads out into space for an unknown destination. This is based on the season 1 finale and some hints from the series' official Twitter account.įirst, let's discuss the Invincible season 1 finale. There are many directions that Invincible season 2 could go in, but we already have an idea of what the next instalment could entail. The comic series is a fun but at-times confusing one. Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Jeffrey Dean Morgan.there's not really anyone I wouldn't want to bring in." Invincible season 2 plot Invincible season 2 plot: what will the story be about? Speaking to, Kirkman said: "I can't think of an actor on The Walking Dead I wouldn't want to work with again. Yeun, Marquand, Laurie Cohan, Michael Cudlitz, Sonequa Martin-Green and Lennie James have appeared in various roles already, but Kirkman wants more Walking Dead stars to lend their talents to the animated show. Kirkman has hinted at some of their returns (more on this below) but we're unsure who will do so yet.Īs for new cast members, Kirkman has expressed interest in seeing some more of The Walking Dead TV series’ cast in future seasons. Sinclair) and Michael Dorn (Battle Beast and Thokk). Other actors who may return include Chris Diamantopoulos (Doc Seismic), Fred Tatasciore (Kill Cannon), Clancy Brown (Damien Darkblood), Jeffrey Donovan (Machine Head), Ezra Miller (D.A. Robot has a big role to play in the comics, but we're unsure if those events will be part of season 2, season 3 or beyond. With Rudy’s consciousness being transferred into his new clone body in season 1 episode 7, Ross Marquand has taken over vocal duties for Rudy. As we saw in the first season, Robot is the artificial host body of Rudy Conners, an individual whose genetic defects mean he’s unable to live outside of his saline tank. Zachary Quinto was the voice of Robot in season 1, but it’s unclear if he'll be needed again. It’s possible that we may see other voice actors reprise their roles outside of the main cast, too.

In a way, China engineered its own demise, as the deployment of the T-45 also led to the development of the West Tek power armor frame, the basis on which all subsequent armor was manufactured. Īnticipating this move, the military invested in the development of electromagnetic weapons to counter the threat should it arise. China rushed to develop its own version, but it was years behind the United States. Although lacking in mobility, this early model allowed soldiers to carry heavy weapons into combat, becoming key to countering masses of Chinese infantry and tanks. In 2067, the first West Tek production model of powered infantry combat armor designated T-45 was sent off to the frontline to defend against the Chinese attackers. The invasion of Alaska in winter of 2066 forced the military and its contractors to begin producing the first sets of powered infantry combat armor. It further strained Sino-American relations, after the United States refused to share its crude oil reserves with the Asian superpower. Crude, but effective, the design was unveiled to the world in the summer of 2066. The most important achievement of this early stage of research was the development of a fusion cell. While early prototypes were unsuccessful, lessons learned in the process paved the way for future advances in military sciences, construction, and fusion. Mechanized cavalry units provided with them would retain the mobility of a soldier moving on foot while giving them the ability to use heavy weapons with ease. With the resource crisis severely limiting the ability of the United States military to deploy combat vehicles, especially tanks and other types of armor, the military-industrial complex began research efforts to create self-powered combat suits in August 2065. Finally, in Fallout 4 and Fallout 76, power armor was developed into a separate gameplay system consisting of maintenance and repair not used for other armor, requiring periodic refueling with fusion cores and allowing in-depth customization. It serves less as a clear cut endgame armor and more of an endgame option for characters specializing in heavy armor. In Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas power armor is still a profoundly protective armor but is gated behind Power Armor Training. In Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics it is effectively the endgame armor, wildly exceeding every other option in terms of protection and bonuses. In the games themselves, power armor is a highly protective type of sophisticated armor. Among these are the technologically advanced Brotherhood of Steel and the Enclave. Īfter the Great War, power armor rapidly became a precious, treasured item, with only a limited number of factions capable of maintaining or fielding them in substantial numbers, much less manufacturing them. China would still attempt to create their own versions of power armor but were already many years behind the United States. Stealth armor was the initial Chinese response, focusing on stealth and subterfuge, rather than head-on confrontations. The T-45 model played a crucial role in stabilizing the Alaskan frontlines at the time of its introduction, while the superior T-51 power armor and later models helped decisively shift the balance in the United States' favor during the Sino-American War. In response to burning through the cells at an alarming rate, later versions were manufactured with built-in microfusion packs. The first iteration of power armor successfully deployed in combat was the T-45 model, which originally ran on small energy cells.
